A playground will be built in honor of Jarrod and Christopher Ditmars at South Lido Beach in Sarasota, FL. The build is scheduled to take place mid-April 2018 and will reflect the life and personalities of brothers Jarrod and Christopher. Christopher lost his lengthy battle with Leukemia in 2001, and his younger brother Jarrod lost his life to a spearfishing accident at the age of 21 in 2015. The playground will be designed by Jarrod and Christopher's parents, Maribeth and Robert, and led by sister Erin Ditmars. The playground will be built by members of Where Angels Play Foundation.
