Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB) is a rare but devastating genetic disorder that affects children from birth. Kids with EB lack critical proteins that bind the skin's layers together. Without these proteins, the skin tears apart, blisters, and shears off leading to severe pain, disfigurement, and wounds that may never heal.
EB Research Partnership (EBRP) is the largest global nonprofit funding research to discover treatments and cures for EB. We are involved because our very close friends Alex and Jamie Silver have a son with EB. Since inception, EBRP has raised over $40 million and has funded 80 research projects to find a cure for EB. We've come so far, but there is still critical work we need to do. This year, more than ever before, we need your help. One of the tragic side effects of the Covid-19 pandemic has been the impact on charities' traditional fundraising channels. So at EBRP - we're pivoting to digital.
