On December 13th TC West and TC Central will play in a Hockey Fights Cancer game.
I will be playing this game for my uncle Jimmy Lomas who lost his battle on May 19, 2013 after a long fight for a year and a half.
I will always remember my Uncle Jimmy for his genuine smile and loving spirit. He was married to his first love for over 40 years and left behind four children and six grand children.
Jimmy was a hard worker and president of a tool and die company in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was a true family man who spent all of his free time entertaining his family, whether planning family trips, fishing with his kids and grandkids, attending athletic events or taking them golfing. He also managed to spend time with his nine brothers and sisters and 40+ nieces and nephews too. I loved my Uncle Jimmy and miss him a lot. We all miss him so much!
In honor of my Uncle Jimmy, will you make a donation to the VanAndel Institute and help fight the battle against cancer? I hope so. I also hope you come and watch the Traverse City West Titan Hockey Team annihilate the Traverse City Central Trojans on December 13!
