As live streams replace shows, DJs from around the world are uniting for the first all-Asian roster online music festival to raise money for COVID-19 relief efforts—and take a stand against racism. EDMTunes is highlighting the many Asian artists in dance music by hosting JadeTopia Virtual Festival on Friday, April 24, starting at 4 PM EST.
The entire live stream event is a charitable fundraiser for COVID-19 relief—100% of proceeds and donations will be given to Direct Relief to help their fight against coronavirus.
Some of the great work Direct Relief is currently doing:
- Providing PPE and other essential medications and supplies (to support and protect healthcare workers and services at both frontlines of primary care and of hospital-based critical care).
- Providing financial support (grantmaking) to bolster viability, cover gaps, and ensure continued services.
- Conducting analysis and providing information, insights, and information products/tools to support internal and external efforts.
JadeTopia features a musically and geographically diverse lineup, with Elephante (USA), Henry Fong (USA), and DJ Soda (South Korea). Artists include Angger Dimas (Indonesia), BEAUZ (USA), DRUU (USA), Florian Picasso (Vietnam/France), Justin OH (South Korea), MYRNE (Singapore), Raiden (South Korea), Riddler (USA), yetep (USA), and XCRPT (USA).
The event is hosted by EDMTunes and will premiere on Facebook Live and Twitch. Facebook groups Subtle Asian Ravers and Subtle Asian Dating will also stream the event.
