We are thrilled to be participating in the second annual Day of Champions on May 19th to raise money for Experience Camps, a free, one-week camp for children who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling or primary caregiver. It's a place where kids can laugh, cry, play, create, remember the person who died, or forget the grief that weighs them down. It's a place where they can feel "normal", because everyone there has been through something similar and understands what it's like to lose someone important to them.
This year we compete in honor of John "Jack" Murray who passed away in 2001 when his daughter was just 5 months old. While Experience Camps did not exist back then, John's daughter was lucky to attend a similar camp and can attest to how incredibly powerful and special this time was with people who just "got it". These friends have become her extended family and she is forever grateful to have them in her life now.
Please join us in helping Experience Camps grow so that they may reach even more children who need this experience. It will change their lives in a way that you could never even imagine.
Thank you for your support! xo
