"People said I couldn't, I showed them I could. People said I shouldn't, I thought why not. People said I would never, I crossed the finish line."
All his life, Jack has done things that people thought he would never do. And he always proves them wrong. To celebrate the anniversary of Jack's first half marathon and to get ready for his first full marathon, we are raising money for KultureCity. $13,100 by Magic City Half Marathon on November ---. $26,200 by Mercedes Marathon on February 16th. It's a lot of money, but we know we can reach this goal just like Jack always reaches his goals.
KultureCity is an impact driven nonprofit dedicated to fight for inclusion and acceptance of all individuals regardless of their medical diagnosis. We advocate for those with sensory challenges such as autism, PTSD, just to name a few. We provide training and equipments to public and private spaces in order to create an inclusive experience for everyone. We fight against social isolation.
To date, we have helped numerous individuals with our toy and tablet program, as well as the lifeBOKS wandering prevention initiative that helps prevent wandering and wandering related accidents and death.
We have made more than 300 venues sensory inclusive across America, including sporting venues, zoos, museums, schools and more. At the end of the day, we are most proud of the community of acceptance and inclusion that we have created. Join us in pushing the boundaries of accessibility, and in our movement for inclusion!
