Founded in 2002, the Jacaranda Foundation has changed the lives of thousands of children. We provide comprehensive, free education and care to orphans and vulnerable children in Malawi through our primary and secondary school programs and have health, literacy, and home support programs that benefit and uplift our entire community.
Like all schools in Malawi, Jacaranda is currently closed and unable to serve its students due to COVID-19. The school usually provides meals, medical care, safety, shelter and educational instruction and technology daily. During this crisis students are now in home environments lacking these essential resources.
We are currently working to keep everyone safe and are distributing masks and soap, ensuring vulnerable families receive porridge flour and maize flour, implementing health education, and developing a remote education model for our students. We need your support during this critical time as we navigate this unprecendented crisis.
YOUR DONATION CAN HELP SLOW THE SPREAD OF COVID-19 AND ENSURE THE SUSTAINABILITY OF OUR SCHOOL AND COMMUNITY PROGRAMS.
Every donation, whether large or small, will make a deep impact. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being part of our beloved community.
With love and gratitude,
Marie Da Silva, Founder
