Support the Italian Film Festival USA as it offers a new online program for this Fall: IFFUSA@Home - Fall edition (October 23, 2020 - November 21, 2020).
The objective of the Italian Film Festival USA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is to promote Italian cinema and culture by organizing events that elevate the awareness thereof and educate the public about Italy: its land, people, culture and language. We organize a yearly film festival, with FREE admission for all, that is presented in numerous cities across the United States, including Boston, Boulder, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Memphis, Milwaukee-Madison, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Portland, Salt Lake City and St. Louis! We strive to screen the highest quality, most critically acclaimed contemporary Italian films. These films have not yet, and may never be seen in the United States outside of the Festival.
So far, in 2020, because of the current health emergency, the IFFUSA has not taken place with its traditional in-person format. Yet, between March and June, we allowed our audience to watch Italian films for FREE from home with our initiatives “Shorts at Home” and “IFFUSA@Home”. In the context of these two initiatives, in addition to longfeature films, documentaries, and short films, we recorded, edited and subtitled exclusive interviews with Italian directors, Fabrizio Corallo and Paolo Zucca, and with a local Italian partisan who took part to the Resistance fight at the end of World War II.
In the coming weeks, we plan to offer more contemporary Italian films for FREE and your contribution will allow us to achieve this goal!
