Isolating from COVID-19 in a cardboard shack in Tijuana, please help us help them.
Imagine sheltering at home when your home is a shack with a dirt floor, walls made of scraps of wood, sheets and cardboard and your roof is a plastic tarp. This is reality for many desperate families that live just a few miles across the border in Mexico. They need our help now more than ever. Our non-profit organization, Project Mercy Baja, normally builds solid houses for these desperate families year round in the east Tijuana/Tecate region. But now, as a result of COVID-19, as US Groups are forced to cancel their upcoming construction, we have had to cancel at least 16 imminent house builds and face losing funding for many more.
With your help we can raise the funds for materials so that our Mexican construction crew can start building houses for these desperate families as soon as it is safe to do so. Each house costs $6000, but we are asking for your kind donation now in any amount, every dollar counts. Project Mercy Baja is committed to continuing with our mission to build solid and sanitary homes and improve the lives of these most vulnerable of our neighbors in need. Your generous gift will make this a reality for families left with no other hope for their future.
