Thank you for your interest in the first ever fundraiser on our Hundreds for Heroes platform. Hundreds for Heroes was built by Zach Soule, Ryan Eckstrom and Sam Scheffley for our NHS project. We knew that this year, due to covid, all the NHS projects would have to rely on online fundraiser more than ever. We wanted to build a platform for not only our own fundraising but also for our fellow NHS seniors that would be doing their senior projects this year. As stated, we are initiating the first fundraiser on this platform and we have a goal before our senior year begins! We want to fundraise for some heroes that have meant the world to us these last 12 years and need our support more than ever. The heroes we wish to celebrate are the teachers in ISD 199. We have had some of the best, most caring, and intelligent teachers we could ask for and we have been treated by these teachers with granola bars, Kleenex, teaching aids, and other supplies that have been funded out of their own pockets. We want to show our gratitude by raising money on their behalf for what will most likely prove to be one of the most difficult years to teach. We want our teachers to feel comfortable going back to school and we want to help them by raising money for the items that will make their year go smoothly. Our goal is $6075 so that we are able to distribute $25 gift cards to each teacher in the district. Any additional funds will be set up as a fund to continue to support teachers’ needs.
