For my 26th Birthday this year I am asking for donations to the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF). A national non-profit organization that is leading the fight for troops suffering the effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI), a devastating condition that afflicts hundreds of thousands of military personnel.
The Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (IFHF) mission is to serve United States military personnel experiencing the Invisible Wounds of War: Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS). When our Servicemen and women return home from the battlefield, the IFHF helps them by building world class advanced treatment facilities, called Intrepid Spirit Centers, which provide the best TBI and PTS care. The current centers, located at Fort Belvoir, VA; Camp Lejeune, NC; Fort Bragg, NC; Fort Campbell, KY; Fort Hood, TX; Joint-Base Lewis-McChord, WA; and Camp Pendleton, CA, provide comprehensive, interdisciplinary and individually tailored evaluations and treatments. More than 90% of service members treated at the Intrepid Spirit Centers are able to continue on Active Duty and enjoy a full life.
100% of donations to IFHF go directly to building Intrepid Spirit Centers. All administrative cost are paid for by the IFHF Board of Directors. Currently there are seven Intrepid Spirit centers operating and our goal is to build three additional centers, at Fort Carson, CO; Fort Bliss, TX; and Eglin Air Force Base, FL. Thousands of American heroes await treatment for the invisible wounds of war and we need your support to complete this crucial mission.
