Yellow Island is among the most colorful of The Nature Conservancy's preserves, its dramatic wildflower displays delighting ferry passengers in the San Juan Islands. In warmer months, visitors come to the 11-acre island by kayak or private boat to walk its trails, enjoy the views and learn more about this unique prairie ecosystem. Help us tell the story of the rich ecological community and the people behind it! Money raised will help fund interpretive signs to make this experience more meaningful for the hundreds of visitors who come each year.
