Some years ago, I volunteered my time and technical skills to International Medical Corps deployment and teams in the nation of Chad in Africa. This was during the massive refugee and humanitarian crisis that was happening in the Darfur region of Sudan.
IMC's mission and work, the volunteers, the national team members, left in indelible mark on me that I've never forgotten. IMC continues its humanitarian relief work all over the world, providing support and training to local healthcare professionals so they can support the population. Unlike other relief organizations that leave a vacuum when they leave, IMC's missions and efforts continue to serve the population.
Please join me in supporting IMC, it's team members and volunteers who are serving humanity.
