International Children's Heart Foundation (ICHF) sends volunteer medical teams as well as donated equipment and supplies to developing countries around the world to provide life-saving surgeries to children, while providing education and training to the local staff. The #1 goal of ICHF is to create independent pediatric cardiac surgical programs capable of caring for the majority of children in those countries with congenital and acquired heart defects. To date, ICHF has completed over 7,850 surgeries in over 34 countries! Here's how you can help! The number of patients helped by team BabyHeart is limited by the amount of funds we are able to raise each year. In 2017, we expect to have completed 130 surgeries by the end of the year. We would like to give that number a boost in 2018. With your help, we can do this! The average cost of 1 child's surgery is USD $3,500, so this means that for every $3,500 raised, an additional surgery can be funded, and an additional life can be changed. Like that of Tia – she is an only child and extremely close to her mom. With supporters like you, BabyHeart helped treat her heart defect, giving her the energy to smile, dance and spend more happy moments with her mom. This would not have been possible without the support of people like you. Help us to continue to bring hope to even more children like Tia in 2018! Every dollar counts and will go towards the cost of life-saving surgeries - the more money raised = more surgeries. Be a hero, and help team BabyHeart continue making a difference in the lives of children in need. You can help bring hope to life!
