We're excited to have 11 interns joining us this summer!
Move For Hunger is a New Jersey non-profit, a national movement, and a simple solution to a daunting problem: food insecurity and food waste. It is the first and only non-profit in the United States that creates, sustains, and expands a network of socially responsible relocation companies to fight hunger and reduce food waste.
By teaming up with relocation companies across the country, Move For Hunger is creating one of the nation’s largest year-round service programs. Our movers offer to pick up the unopened, non-perishable food items from those who are moving and deliver it to their local food banks.
More than 40 million Americans are hungry, including 1 in 6 children. And yet, 40% of all food grown, processed, and transported in the United States is discarded. In just ten years, Move For Hunger has mobilized partners nationwide to collect 15 million pounds of food and provide over 12 million meals to families in need! The innovative interns of Move For Hunger are fundraising in order to expand this mobilization effort. Please donate to help keep food on the table for those in need and out of the landfill. Donate today and YOU can be part of the solution!
Thank you for your support!
