FOR OVER TWO DECADES, the Fallbrook/Ingold Sports Park has been a blessing to the communities of Fallbrook, Bonsall, and Rainbow. The Sports Park was a vision of two great men, Bob Ingold and Bob Hegardt, who along with a group of local sports enthusiasts selflessly wanted to create a facility for organized youth sports in our local community - a single place that could provide a variety of sports experiences for our children. As the only such facility within a 15-mile radius, the Park now serves over 3,500 individuals weekly of all ages, from 5 to 85. We promote healthy lifestyles and enriching lives through facilitating sports and a variety of activities.
WE ARE A NOT-FOR-PROFIT PARK! The Fallbrook Sports Park is a NON-PROFIT (501c3) organization. Because the park is located in an unincorporated area of San Diego County, the park does not receive any on-going support from the county or any other government source. It is maintained by an all-volunteer board, all of whom reside in the Fallbrook community. They have their hearts in contributing to the Park’s success.
THANKS TO YOU, and the generous support and private donations from local businesses and community members, the Park has been taking care of local residents since MAY OF 2000! We work hard to create a fun, family-oriented atmosphere supporting a wide range of activities including: Fallbrook Youth Soccer Leagues, Fallbrook Girls Softball League, Arena Soccer and Co-Ed Soccer Leagues, Fallbrook Girls rugby, Youth baseball, Senior softball, and Men’s, women’s and Co-ed softball.
YOUR SPORTS PARK NEEDS YOU!The Fallbrook/Ingold Sports Park has a tremendous future ahead of them, but we can’t do it without the help and support of our local families and businesses. Unfortunately, like so many others, we are being deeply impacted by the global pandemic, Covid-19. Prior to park closure we were coming off of a record breaking 2019 and had confirmed reservations for daily practices, weekly games and weekend tournaments to have an even better 2020. These activities, along with all park operations, came to a halt in March 2020! Since March we have lost in excess of $150,000 in revenue while our expenses have not stopped. Our landscaping, watering, lighting expenses are just some examples of expenses that are required to keep the condition of the park to minimum standards during this time of closure.
PLEASE HELP! We now find ourselves faced with pending financial obligations so extreme that we must reach out to all of you in the community, and ask for your financial support so that we can save this gem in our community and may continue to maintain the park in an acceptable manner that we will be able to reopen when allowed.
ANY DONATIONS HELP! We know this is a difficult time for everyone but we would sincerely appreciate contribution that you can make during this time to help support your community park. Once we are given the approval to do so, we hope to reopen the park and provide a safe environment for you and your families to enjoy.
THANK YOU! for your support and look forward to seeing all of you back on the fields! Please help spread the word to all your family and friends! We are a small community but there is strength in numbers and we look forward to your help in saving this park so not only the youth of today have a place to play but our future generations will be able to enjoy sports in our community!
