Help us come out the other side of COVID-19 shutdowns. We have lost 60% of our revenue for April and May. Unlike restaurants, we can't do take out. Unlike gyms, we don't lock members into year-long contracts. We need help getting through this.
The Speak Easy is Indiana's first nonprofit collaborative workspace, a community for idea-stage entrepreneurs, startups, and the individuals who support them to work and collaborate. We keep membership rates low for entrepreneurs by hosting events.
If the Speak Easy was here for you when you:
- launched your business
- hosted a pitch
- needed an introduction
- attended a meetup
- hosted a meeting
- received help from a Speak Easy member
- worked remotely
- got married
- attended office hours or pitched at PitchFeast
- attended 1MC, SmartUps, Creative Mornings,
New To Indy, Ladies in SaaS, Verge/Powderkeg,
Two Degrees, or another community event
...please donate. Every gift will help us keep our doors open.
Together, we pay it forward. For each $150 raised, we will offer a two month extended membership to an early-stage entrepreneur who has been impacted financially or who has lost his/her day job.
The Speak Easy (legal name: Startup Accelerator) has been here for the South Broad Ripple neighborhood for nine years. Over 200 companies spent their early days here. We plan to come out the other side of COVID-19 shutdowns and continue our mission of supporiting those who try out entrepreneurial ideas.
We are a 501(c)3 community- and economic-development nonprofit so donations are tax deductible. Why $15,960? We need to raise $23K and members have already donated $7040. We are reaching out to prior members, alumni companies, and our wider community with this GoFundMe Charity campaign.
