Last year on October 23rd, my world was turned upside down. While holding her hand, my beautiful mother lost her battle against pancreatic cancer. It is a moment that I will forever remember. At the time, I was 8 months pregnant with my sweet little boy, who I know she watches over. After reflecting on it all, I thought, I like to run, I want to run for my mom. I know she would be proud of me for all I have pushed myself through this year and what better way to celebrate her life than helping others with the same deadly disease. I am honored to run the Baystate Half Marathon on October 21, 2018 in memory of my mother, Erin Marie McLoughlin. Please help me raise awareness and funds for Project Purple, whose mission is to find a cure for pancreatic cancer and improve the lives of patients through support, hope and compassion. Thank you!
