IN LOVING MEMORY
Obituary
Kevin Kowalski of Park City passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018. He was born August 12, 1955 to Richard and Dolores in Michigan City, Indiana. Kevin is lovingly remembered by his wife of 30 years, Gail Ann; his children, Kelley and Kris, and their partners, Ben and Brittany; and his brothers, Chris and Tim.
Kevin graduated from University of California, Davis. He was a food scientist and spent his career working with various companies in the food industry.
Kevin was passionate about music and shared his love of it with his family. When possible, despite living in different states, he and his brothers got together to play guitar and sing their favorite songs—sometimes making CDs and videos to preserve the memories.
He had a great sense of humor that could light up the room. Every now and then, Kevin had laughing attacks, sometimes laughing so hard that he cried and could barely finish telling the story.
Those who knew Kevin were familiar with his favorite sayings. One of the best was his response when someone nearly choked while eating. He would say, “Slow down. Nobody’s gonna take it away from you,” often increasing the choking hazard due to the intense laughter.
Kevin was loved very much and will be sadly missed by his wife and children.
Donations in Kevin's name to American Red Cross are welcome and appreciated. The memorial service will be private.
A celebration of Kevin's life will take place on Saturday, September 22, at the Kowalski residence at 3:00 pm. All are welcome. Please contact Kelley at kkowalski81318@gmail.com for the address.
