Kathie Holland was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend inside and out. Family meant everything to her. When she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in December 2017, she put on a brave face and refused to let it bring her down. Her doctor at University of Pennsylvania is a leading researcher for AML and began an experimental treatment. The treatment was working well and the doctor was pleased with the progress she was making. Once the treatment ended, however, her symptoms worsened. The cancer spread quickly and she lost her battle with AML in May 2018.
Please donate to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to honor her memory and to help find a cure.
