Ed passed away on 8/13/20 from complications that arose from a visit to a care facility, three years after he was diagnosed with MSA.
Like many with MSA, he received different diagnoses including Parkinson's before the proper diagnosis was assigned. Meanwhile, he was experiencing loss of his abilities to do his favorite things (all of which he did quite well). He was a quiet, yet sharp and relentless competitor. His favorite games to play were golf, darts, pool, and cards. Even though most of us couldn't win any contest with him, we loved trying. He was always ready to indulge us in another round to try again.
You can honor Ed by contributing to this charity to build awareness and help others with this diagnosis.
