Suicide is the second leading cause of death in the US for people ages 15 – 24, and Vermont’s suicide rate is higher than the national average.
Project Hoeppner was created to increase awareness about the catastrophe that is teen suicide and offer courage for teens to say “I need help” and for their loved ones to hear it. The goal of sponsored events is to create opportunities for teens, loved ones and the community to connect and communicate honestly with each other…without judgement. As a team, we knew Paul as a passionate rower, a dependable teammate, but mostly as a close, caring friend who we all miss dearly. Please consider supporting our journey across the lake to NY as we "Pull for Paul" and spread all of the joy, humor, and love he brought to the sport!
~Once again, Lake Champlain Maritime Museum has graciously agreed to act as fiscal sponsor for our Hope for TomorROW fundraising efforts. Proceeds will benefit both the Maritime Museum and Project HOePpnEr, however receipts will show a donation to Lake Champlain Maritime Museum only.~
