National Epilepsy Awareness Month in November is an annual event that teaches people about epilepsy’s causes and symptoms. One in 26 people will be diagnosed with epilepsy at some point during their lifetime. During this month many organizations join together to provide information about prevention, treatment, research, and resources to fight epilepsy.
Currently there is a national shortage of qualified Neurodiagnostic Technologists. These healthcare workers are a critical part of an epilepsy patient's care team.
This November the ASET Foundation will launch our first annual fundraising campaign in conjunction with National Epilepsy Awareness Month. Money raised through this effort will provide grants, scholarships, and other educational funding for the next generation of warriors in the battle against epilepsy.
Better training means better care, and better care means better outcomes. As a 100% volunteer organization, every dollar raised by this campaign will go toward furthering the education of someone who helps care for an epilepsy patient, improving outcomes for those suffering from epilepsy.
Whether you can donate $10 or $100, every dollar helps. Please help us reach our goal and donate today!
