Illinois Grows Hope! Now, more than ever, we need everyone to take up the fight against cancer.
The impact of COVID-19 on ACS fundraising efforts will reduce our ability to fund research by 50% in 2020, resulting in our lowest research investment this century. This reduction will ultimately put new treatments and discoveries at risk. The American Cancer Society is currently funding 23 multi-year grants in Illinois totaling $14.3 million.
The harsh reality is in 2020 an estimated 24,220 Illinois individuals will lose their fight against cancer. We need your help "Growing Hope" and lowering this number. How do we do that? Through research and patient services.
Cancer patients need us now more than ever! Please donate to the American Cancer Society. Join our #ILGrowsHope campaign by...
Donating $24 (or more) to help lower the number of Illinois residents who will lose their life this year. Donate to this page or your personal fundraising page.
Sharing our campaign to your social media and inviting 10 people to join you in making a $24 donation as well.
Using the hashtag #ILGrowsHope and helping spread the word to impact the mission of the American Cancer Society!
By donating now we'll be able to match the first $10,000 raised and double our efforts thanks to the generous support of our sponsors OSF HealthCare and Illinois Cancer Care!
We need you NOW. The future of cancer depends on what we do today.
