Hope Rising Foundation, a non-profit organization registered in the state of Florida, USA, is raising funds to help restore the dilapidated science lab building of Iho Dimeze Comprehensive Secondary School in Imo State, Nigeria. The roof of the science lab was totally destroyed by a tropical storm. The whole building is currently in total disrepair and in urgent need of restoration. The students, as a result, have been forced to have their science classes under the shades of trees. This repair is urgent and necessary because it is a condition for the school's approval as a center for their final science exams.
Help us with whatever you can afford. No amount is too little. Your donation helps us light a candle of Hope in this school and community. It also helps us put smiles on the faces of the teachers and students. Your help will be deeply appreciated.
We already started work on the project . We have so far fortified the external pilars and beams, replaced the original pilars with cement and concrete pilars. We have redone the roof, replacing it with a completely new one. We are yet to complete the ceiling, plastering, flooring and to replace the windows and doors with steel windows for the protection of the lab equipments.
