I would be lying to you if I said I’m running because I want to. No. I’m running because I have to. Earlier this year, I lost my uncle to a battle with cancer. And, well, now I am running for him and everything he stood for. The altruism and warmth he embodied is exactly what the 2019 Run Across Haiti is all about. I am beyond honored (and a little anxious) to participate in my most ambitious run to date. There’s no way I could do this 200+ mile run without the support from those who believe in me and the determination my uncle graced me with. Please support our mission to improve health care, alleviate poverty, and provide access to educational opportunities in the beautiful country of Haiti.
