So this year, me (and hopefully a few friends) had decided to join E4K, to help raise funds for Random Acts and to help fight child hunger around the globe.
Q - So what is E4K?
A - E4K (Endure 4 Kindness) is a worldwide charity event, where each year, supporters around the world come together to participate in acts that push themselves to do their personal best and help raise funds for Random Acts, a worldwide charitable program focused on promoting a message of kindness.
This year, E4K will be run from 22-25th November.
I aim to run 5km sometime to be announced during these four days, and help raise money for charity. Hopefully some friends will join me.
Q - Wait - YOU think you're going to run 5km?
A - Well... Yes. Hopefully.
The whole point of E4K is to push yourself beyond what you can normally achieve. It wouldn't be an effort for me to marathon crochet or any other form of craft, because that's what's normal for me.
As most of you can probably guess, I am a grossly unfit human being, so aiming to run 5km will be a huge achievement for me. Maybe unattainable in the time period I have, but I'm going to try. If not, I'm going to couch my bets with a walk/run. I should be able to walk 5km.
Q - So what can I do to help?
A - Donate!
I'm going to be updating you all on my progress as I go, cause I need someone to keep me on track for this. But helping me raise money for this awesome charity would be greatly appreciated.
Otherwise, feel free to join my team and join in! The more the miserabl... I mean, merrier. Definitely merrier.
Love Caitlin (and whoever I con into joining me)
