GRAB YOUR MARACAS AND BONGOS! HAROLD'S BACK WITH A BRAND NEW SHOW!

Since his last appearance, Harold Sanditen, Tulsa native and charismatic host of London's hottest Open Mic night (now in its 8th year at the infamous Crazy Coqs,) has been performing around the globe, amassing new audiences and absorbing  new forms of musical expression along the way - a smattering of country and western from his native Oklahoma, the  romantic wheeze of a Parisian concertina, the  rhythmic abandon of a bouzouki on a beach in  Mykonos, and the sexy sway of a Brazilian samba.

In Sanditen's inimitable style, youll hear each song in a new light, with exceptional and unique  arrangements. This highly rhythmic celebration guarantees

Story
WHY I WANT TO RAISE MONEY FOR ALZHEIMER'S RESEARCH

My mother, Jean Sanditen, died of complications from Alzheimer’s in August 2018.  She was 89.  My story isn’t unique.  In fact,  1 in 3 seniors will die with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia.   Alzheimer’s is the only leading cause of death with a mortality rate on the rise.  In 2019 over 6 million Americans were living with Alzheimer’s.   By 2050, this number is projected to rise to over 14 million.

I want to try to change these statistics, so am performing a cabaret concert to raise money for Alzheimer’s research.  Research is essential.  It doesn’t matter how many facilities there may be to take care of victims of this disease, if we don’t find a cure, the disease will continue to be on the increase. Alzheimer’s  is  an  insidious  disease  that  could affect any one of us at any time.

I am inviting you to join me in supporting Cure Alzheimer’s Fund, aka CureAlz, an amazing charity that funnels 100% of every dollar it raises into Alzheimer’s research.  CureAlz is dedicated to funding research with the highest probability of stopping, slowing and preventing Alzheimer’s disease.  They have received a perfect 4-star rating from the charity watchdog site, Charity Navigator, for the past 9 consecutive years.  Since inception, CureAlz has directed over $100 million to Alzheimer’s research.  This money has funded research at hundreds of world-class institutions around the globe.  With your support, Cure Alzheimer’s Fund can make further progress.

My mother always loved music, and in her  final days, it  became her solace.  I'd put on her favourite CDs and sing to her, and she'd sing along, too.  This concert is a fitting tribute to her memory and a chance to help find the cause of this debilitating disease.

I GOT RHYTHMS, a toe-tapping concert to fund Alzheimer's research, will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2020, at 3pm at the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame.

Please join me at the concert by clicking HERE to book tickets!  If you can't make the concert, or if you want to increase your donation, you can also become a donor by clicking HERE

CureAlz’s board covers all operating costs so that 100% of every donation can go directly to Alzheimer’s research.  All costs of this show will be covered by me.  Therefore, every penny of your ticket price will go directly to the charity and is fully tax-deductible.

I am delighted to have the support of the Jewish Federation of Tulsa, which has provided  immeasurable assistance with marketing and administration,  and the Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame which is providing the venue at a substantially reduced rent.

This is a "no bells and whistles" event. There are no sponsorship opportunities, no fancy meal, and no party favours. It’s your chance to sit back and enjoy some irresistible toe-tapping entertainment, while participating in finding a cure for this horrifying disease which devastates so many individuals and their families.
