Running around as a stray, living on the streets, Momma Athena was finally rescued after several weeks and many attempts to try and catch her. No sooner did we, she went into labor giving birth to 9 puppies. Being extremely weak and malnourished, her babies were born premature and underdeveloped. For the first 4 weeks of their lives they were bottle fed because Athena could not produce any milk for them. Momma Athena found herself in and out of the ER hospital, as did her puppies. Now even though Momma Athena is feeling better and on the road to recovery, her surviving puppies are still fighting for their lives. At six weeks old, poor baby Tina who is suffering from liver issues has just been admitted back to the ER.
Sadly this type of scenario is a regular occurrence at Husky House and we need your help to continue to provide much needed medical care.
As others in the past, 2018 was a year of major medical cases with so many amazing dogs that truly deserve a chance to live. Your help will continue to provide much needed medical care for dogs like Athena and her puppies. I hope you will support us and make a generous contribution to Husky House today. Thank You. From our Pack to Yours HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
