At Playcore we believe in building communities through play and recreation.
Communities in Grand Bahamas that have been devastated by Hurricane Dorian need our help to achieve even the most basic life essentials we take for granted, like safe drinking water.
Much of the infrastructure was wiped out on Grand Bahamas, and due to the flooding the water table was affected and there is no estimated recovery time.
Here at Playcore, our companies of Gametime and Fountain People/Water Odyssey have had the pleasure of working with teams in Nassau to create a beautiful resort waterpark. We would like to give back to the Bahamas' community during their devastating recovery process by providing LifeStraw products to help them have daily access to clean drinking water.
In the meantime, we are partnering with LifeStraw to ship and distribute LifeStraw Community products to the communities affected by Hurricane Dorian.
As Hurricane Dorian continues to bear down on the Bahamas and moves slowly towards the East Coast, we are actively working with partners and contacts in the region to be prepared to serve those affected by the storm. Our hearts go out to the families and communities that have already been devastated by Hurricane Dorian. Your support at this critical time ensures we can be prepared for both immediate and long-term response.
LifeStraw utilizes it’s non-profit Safe Water Fund to support the distribution and delivery of safe water to victims of natural disasters.
LifeStraw Safe Water Fund is a project of New Venture Fund, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Your donation supports the LifeStraw Safe Water Fund and is tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law.
