Amongst our many lonng term projects we have adopted Sweetings Cay - a destroyed island off the east end of Grand Bahama where Third Wave Volunteers have been delivering aid, food, solar, generators, water filters, mucking out houses, tents, roofing supplies, ocean and mangrove clean ups, turtle restoration, tree recovery, rebuilding, fishermans coop and much more.
See video below for the work :

UPDATE: Sept 14th- 2019
Third Wave Volunteers, and our sponsor partner Webb Banks - (a leading wine and spirits distributor throughout the Caribbean ) are on the ground in Grand Bahama and Abacos moving fast to get quick aid to the people.
We have established the main warehouse in Freeport where we have the help of coca cola trucks and have aquired a volunteer house in Freeport and Turtle Reef which helps with the flow of volunteers working at the ground zero areas of High Rock, Pelican point, Mccleans town and Sweetings cay in the east end of Freeport. We have also set up aid areas in Abacos and are pushing aid from Treasure Cay out to Marsh harbor, Blackwoods, Copperstown and through to Crownhaven.
In Grand Bahamas Third Wave Volunteers have set up a network alliance of 52 churches and 100's of preachers linked to a grassroots movement with 1000's of volunteers and local organizations.
In GB we have arborists clearing the roads by cutting through 50 miles of electricity wires and chainsawing through trees. We are also working in collaboration with Coral Vita - who are a great bunch of guys restoring the local reefs for the past 18 months.
We are distributing 33 containers of large aid throughout GB and Abacos along with medical, search and rescue, health checks, solar and water filtration units.

HURRICANE DORIAN- CAT 5 It is the strongest hurricane in modern record in Atlantic Basin.
Hitting Bahamas right now- There will be electricity out all over the islands and major destruction for a long time. Third Wave Volunteers have SAR, medical and recon teams ready to deploy along with our Sponsor partners WEBB Banks who are the leading wine and spirits brands in the Caribbean Basin. They have all the distribution routes set up and people on the ground so its a PERFECT UNION.
We are raising donations to get solar lights and aid to distribute after the storm.
All other organizations are welcome to join us- We are stronger together. A Community Emergency Operations Center has been identified on the ground.
Lets all band together no matter what our differences. Humanity first.
