The Huntington Hospital has been an institution in our community for over 125 years. Many of you were born there or had your children there. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many hospital activities have been curbed, including our Huntington Charity League philanthropic events. In past years, your donations have directly benefited several programs including the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, The Parent Connection, and the Helen Hancock Nursing Scholarship. But what a year 2020, and now 2021, has been! The pandemic has put an extreme strain on the hospital and its resources. More than ever, the Huntington Hospital needs our continued support!
Many of the NICU’s resources come from community donors. This past year, complicated by the COVID-19 pandemic, has taken a noticeable toll on fundraising. While the stay-at-home-orders have changed how we raise funds, the need remains unchanged. The hospital’s youngest patients are still in need of your help. Please donate what you can to continue to allow the Huntington Hospital NICU to provide the highest level of care to this group of the smallest and most vulnerable patients.
