Hi, I'm Cathy! Thanks for supporting Humanity Fitness! I'm so excited to be working out for a cause.
I am doing the Beachbody 80 Day Obsession Program -- something I did last year. I felt amazing health benefits from the program because it includes a balanced nutrition program along with 80 days of different workouts to get stronger.
I am also taking hot yoga classes because I love what it does for me mentally! Bikram clears my mind and helps me to be a better, calmer person outside of the studio.
Humanity Fitness is an amazing initiative started by my friend Amanda to raise awareness for the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. Please join me in raising money to support this cause. You can learn more at humanityfitness.com.
Through this campaign, people just like you are committing to healthier lives and raising awareness about devastation around the world.
Help me stick to my Healthy Choices and raise $5,000 to help solve a humanitarian health crisis in Yemen by supporting Doctors Without Borders.
Humanity Fitness: Where health and fitness meet altruism.
When we choose fitness, we often do it for personal reasons: we want our clothes to fit better; we want to sleep better; we want to be able to run and move painlessly.
While there are many great personal reasons to get healthy, we also want to raise awareness about a country where health needs are even more critical. The Yemeni Civil War has crippled the healthcare system there. Many are dying of preventable diseases such as cholera and diphtheria. Millions of people do not have access to proper nutrition and clean water.
While we recognize this effort is not going to completely solve the humanitarian crisis in Yemen, we are hopeful that this campaign will raise awareness about a situation that is affecting millions of people. By sharing stories of people in Yemen, and especially of those trying to provide healthcare, we seek to encourage kindness from those who are able to give.
