Tough Ruck 26.2 is a group of military and civilians whose sole purpose is to Ruck in honor and in memory of our Fallen Service Members, Police, Firefighters and EMTs, while raising funds to support military families in times of need. I will walk a 26.2 mile certified course with my 35 lbs Ruck and carry the name of a Fallen comrade.
I am participating in this Tough Ruck in honor of Major Evans Hanson. It was an absolute Honor To Serve with Evans, who is one of the most influential men I know. A true professional, his dedication to his country and to his brothers-in-arms inspired and shaped the lives of all those who knew him. As a dedicated Husband, Father, Son and Friend, his love, legacy, and memory will endure.
I ask all of us to live well...and to give well.
