The UMP is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit arts-education-research collective aiming to humanize the migrant experience between Latin America and the United States. UMP projects are collaborative public endeavors meant to inspire and engage participants to work towards positive social change.
HT94 will launch over a six-month period from May to October 2020 occurring simultaneously in 150 cities globally. The exhibition aims to raise awareness by illuminating the humanitarian crisis occurring at the United States' southern border that has claimed as least 3,000 lives since the mid-1990s and continues to do so each and every day.
We especially want to take HT94 to the places that are most impacted by this crisis and absolutely critical to the migration conversation – locations like San Pedro Sula, Honduras, a city plagued by violence which has led to a mass exodus of people seeking refuge, and Lampedusa, Italy, where thousands of migrants have arrived from Northern Africa.
These locations simply do not have the resources to participate so we need your help to make it possible. HT94 has the potential to spark change, inspire hearts, and share the untold journeys of many lost souls.
Please considering supporting HT94 today and help us spread our message and fuel this global movement.
