The writer Frederick Buechner wrote about how we are called to places where our deep gladness and the world's deep hunger meet. In February 2019, high school youth and chaperones will be working as servant leaders, disciples, and ambassadors of the Reformed Church of Bronxville. These youth will travel to the Dominican Republic with a week long mission of partnering with another church to help build and maintain the physical community. There is also opportunity to work with the youth of the local school, teaching and learning in turn. This a place of great beauty, but also great need. On this trip, the youth will create fellowship with the local community , experience a new and diverse culture, and be a part of something much larger than them. The youth group is looking to raise money to pay for not only the supplies to complete the work projects, but to raise supplemental funds for the youths' travel and lodging. We hope that you can donate to become a ministry partner in this once in a lifetime experience.
