Let’s come together as a community to serve the broad spectrum of LGBTQ communities on MLK Day of Service. MLK Day of Service is a "day on, not a day off."
It is a way to transform Dr. King's life and teachings into community action to help bring together people, strengthen communities, and meet national challenges.
This day of service is part of an on-going commitment from the Human Rights Campaign San Diego to further support under-served groups within the LGBTQ community.
Join partnering organizations along with HRC on January 17 and the surrounding days by pledging your financial support.
This year HRC San Diego is organizing a donation drive for personal care items, winter accessories, school supplies and other essentials delivering them to San Diego organizations that support LGBTQIA+ homeless and other youth including:
- San Diego Youth Services
- Doors of Change
- Urban Street Angels
- SDUSD Homeless Intake Program
Please consider donating. Our MLK Day of Service committee will use cash donations to purchase items from the above list.
Thank you for your generosity and support.
