For the 5th year in a row, I’ll be attending the House of Hearts Charity Bonspiel (curling terminology for tournament) in Duluth, MN which raises money for Project Joy to fight childhood hunger.
This year the event is expanding its reach in fighting hunger that hides throughout our community. We are thrilled to announce that the 2020 HOH proceeds will be split between the following:
- Boys & Girls Club of the Northland Healthy Meals Program
- The Families in Transition Program (FIT) at the Duluth Public School District
- The United Way of Northeastern Minnesota’s Buddy Backpack program
This event is unique because it brings together Olympic and World Champion curlers who volunteer their time to play with regular curlers
Thank you for helping out in the fight against childhood hunger.
