My name is Christina Martin. I'm running the Chicago Hot Chocolate 15K on November 4, 2018. I'm racing for the North American Thrombosis Forum (NATF) to raise money for blood clotting disorders. NATF is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit incorporated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Their goal is to focus on the unmet needs and issues related to thrombosis and cardiovascular diseases such as deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction, peripheral arterial occlusive disease, and stroke.
On September 28, 2014, Manu Ajamu Williams passed away from a pulmonary embolism at the young age of 36. The objective of this race is to bring awareness about the dangers of blood clots and educate others to save lives. Please help me and the NATF, fight blood clots & donate today!
God bless you! Chris
