Why support Horizons?

With help from supporters like you, Horizons for Homeless Children improves the lives of young children and families experiencing homlessness by providing high-quality early education, opportunities for play, and comprehensive family support services.

The COVID-19 crisis has been a challenging time for the families we serve at Horizons. Small rooms, limited access to resources, and long days make social distancing challenging for families living in shelter. At Horizons, our dedication to serving families has not wavered amidst the pandemic. By refocusing our efforts and adapting to changing needs, we’ve continued to step up for families in new and innovative ways.

With 83% of our parents out of work because of the COVID-19 crisis, we look forward to early July when our centers reopen and our parents can go back to work. Additionally, we will be able to continue providing essential education opportunities, nutritious meals, mental health services and a safe and healthy environment for the children Horizons serves.

Thank you for your support, we couldn't do it without you!
