Facing cancer is hard and having to travel out of town for treatment can make it even harder. Yet the American Cancer Society has a place where cancer patients and their caregivers can find help and hope when home is far away - an American Cancer Society Hope Lodge.
Hope Lodge Nebraska provides a nurturing, home-like environment where guests can retreat to one of our 32 private guest rooms or connect with others. The Lodge also offers a variety of resources and information about cancer and how best to fight the disease. We are giving hope a home.
More than just a roof over their heads, it's a nurturing community that helps patients access the care they need. Hope Lodge Nebraska staff are committed to providing a nurturing home away from home for our guests 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Volunteers help with daily Hope Lodge operations such as making meals, providing entertainment, planning activities, and improving the facility and grounds. Support from volunteers and local companies is critical to the American Cancer Society’s mission of providing free lodging. Hope Lodge Nebraska is run solely on the generosity of donations, both financial and in-kind.
