My family and I started attending Kensington church about 5 years ago, and we recently moved out to Clarkston and I joined their volunteer team. Over this course of time I learned more about the HEART of Kensington, and how everyone matters. When I first heard about the Hope Water Project through Kensington my first reaction was "Why aren't we helping people here in our own country?" However, Kensington showed me that Gods heart and wishes are for you and I too help ANOTHER human being in need regardless of race or demographics . Hope Water has delivered 110 wells to the Pokot people in Kenya, which has touched 220,000 lives of people in desperate need of water. We wake up everyday not being concerned about water, because its at our finger tips, but imagine waking up 3am every morning just to walk 6 miles for buckets of unclean water that has caused multiple diseases.
Please walk with me and my team in our journey to help raise money to bring more needed wells to Kenya. It will change their lives and community forever, and in the middle of it ALL is Gods HEART and LOVE for helping others. Did you know that a $15 donation helps to bring water to ONE person in Kenya? So you don't need to donate hundreds of dollars to make a difference, any amount will go a long way.
