Join us on the water again, at the Lake Champlain  Maritime Museum to raise awareness about teen suicide.

NO experience is necessary for this amazing row across Lake Champlain - about 2 miles roundtrip.

Our host and partner, the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum, will provide 4-oar and 6-oar pilot gigs and life jackets. Each boat will be assigned an experienced rower as coxswain.

Two rowing sessions are planned, at 9 am and 11:30 am, but weather will play a part in the day's schedule. Thank you for your patience and flexibility.

Prizes will be awarded for fundraising and team spirit!

Entry is $25 per person before August 1. Sign up as a team, as an individual or as a virtual rower!

Participants will receive a t-shirt, goody bag and lunch.

Rain date is Sunday, September 5.

Project HOePpnEr

In October 2018, our friend Paul Hoeppner died by suicide.
Since then, we've learned that suicide is the second leading cause of death in the US for people ages 15 – 24, and Vermont’s suicide rate is higher than the national average.
Project HOePpnEr was created to increase awareness around the catastrophe that is teen suicide and offer courage for teens to say “I need help” and for their loved ones to hear it. The goal of sponsored events is to create opportunities for teens, loved ones and the community to connect authentically and communicate honestly with each other…without judgement. To learn more about Project HOePpnEr, please visit
Inspired by Paul's love for rowing, Hope for TomorROW was created. Join us to row, remember, connect.
If you are in crisis, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or contact the Crisis Text Line by texting TALK to 741741.
