For over 23 years Tomorrow’s Hope has partnered with local businesses to provide grants to community health providers to directly impact individuals touched by life-limiting illnesses. In this unprecedented time of the Covid-19 pandemic we want to help support the local businesses that have long advocated for our mission while also helping those touched by life limiting illness.
This new Tomorrow's Hope program “Hope for Community” is promoted in partnership with Jefferson’s “Heart of the Community” and “Voice of the Community” – Malicki’s Piggly Wiggly Supermarket and the Jefferson Chamber of Commerce, respectively.
By purchasing gift vouchers or cards from local community-based businesses we hope to help lessen the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on local merchants and restaurants while bringing a smile to the faces of those touched by life limiting illness in this difficult time.
How this works!
1. Malicki’s Piggly Wiggly will act as the gift card “hub” through which all local businesses can sell their gift cards/vouchers. Businesses unable to get their gift cards to the "hub" can contact Tomorrow's Hope for other arrangements.
2. Tomorrow’s Hope community fundraising enables our organization to purchase gift cards/vouchers from Piggly Wiggly for the local businesses most impacted. Businesses unable to get their gift cards to the "hub" can contact Tomorrow's Hope for other arrangements.
3. Local community groups such as churches and other community service organizations will receive these gift cards/vouchers to donate them directly to individuals who are struggling with life limiting illness in this challenging time. Individuals most susceptible to the coronavirus will also be served.
Please donate now to support this important Jefferson-based program. With your support we will be able to show success and expand to other Jefferson County communities!
