Minor League Baseball has a rich history of supporting the causes that mean most to our communities across the country. The Hope at Bat campaign brings together our teams and fans to fight for a world without cancer through fundraising and awareness campaigns in support of the American Cancer Society.
The colored stripes within the Hope at Bat awareness ribbon symbolize just a few of the many cancers that Minor League Baseball teams build awareness for and fight against all year long: black for melanoma, pink for breast cancer, light blue for prostate cancer, gold for childhood cancer, and purple for all cancer survivors. The Hope at Bat ribbon is primarily lavender in color to represent all cancers.
