It's hard for young children to understand breast cancer, muchless to lose someone they love to it, but it happened to us when my grandmother died when I was only seven. It was a time before technology and regular exams became such integral parts of prevention, detection, and treatment. Now, even though we have come so far, there is still much to be learned and implemented to remedy this threat with an absolute cure. So, until that day comes, the best we can do is to give, pray, support, and survive...together. Because when one of us survives breast cancer, we are all survivors! Thank you all for your generosity.
