Daniel died by suicide at the age of 28 on April 26, 2020. Daniel was married to his best friend and travel buddy of ten years, Jason.
More than anything, Daniel enjoyed traveling to and hiking our beautiful state and national parks. They offered Daniel the ultimate disconnect from daily stress and anxiety.
Daniel's favorite national parks were Yosemite in California, Rocky Mountain in Colorado, Yellowstone in Wyoming, and Saguaro in Arizona. Joshua Tree in California topped Daniel's list of future adventures.
This photo was taken of Daniel in July 2019 at Mist Trail in Yosemite National Park. This was Daniel in one of his happiest, most relaxed moments of the past year.
In Daniel's honor, please consider making a donation to the National Park Foundation to fund our national parks and provide clean, relaxing and breathtaking experiences to people for years to come.
