Honor a Cancer Survivor Today!
More than 15.5 million people in the United States are cancer survivors, and each of their journeys has been unique. At the University of Michigan Rogel Cancer Center, we are focused on meeting our patients’ needs every step of the way.
June 2 is National Cancer Survivors Day, recognizing those personal experiences and the bond that survivors share with one another and with those facing a cancer diagnosis.
Join us in celebrating cancer survivors! Make a gift today to honor the journey of a friend or loved one — and ease the journey of another.
Your gift will fuel a special set of programs at the Rogel Cancer Center that address the mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical effects of cancer. They enable care teams to promote healing for patients, families, and survivors through:
· Music therapy
· Art therapy
· Patient education
· Family programs
· Guided imagery
· Volunteer services
· Community outreach
· Spiritual care
Patient and Family Support Services are funded entirely through philanthropy. Our goal is to raise $2,500 to ensure they are available to every patient and family that can benefit. Each contribution will make a tangible, meaningful difference in someone’s life.
Your gift will ensure our patients know that they are not facing cancer alone — that an entire community supports their journeys.
Thank you for your support of Rogel Cancer Center patients, families, and survivors!
