Ron is a sweet 6-year-old dog rescued from the streets of Guatemala. He was found laying on the ground with an exposed bone. Originally, we thought he had been hit by a car but after we confirmed that he had more than a dozen venereal tumors that spread to his whole body and exploded and thus exposing the bone.
Ron was brought to the vet immediately and sadly he confirmed bone infection as well. He also had severe anemia and barely moved. He also had skin problems due to his weak immune disease. We and the vet were not optimistic at the beginning and considered letting him rest. But Ron is a warrior and started to respond well to treatment.
We are fundraising to help pay for part of this long and expensive treatment for Ron that includes chemotherapy, skin membranes to help with regeneration, regular wound cleaning, a long hospitalization, and several medications, exams, and supplements. His vet bill is very high, and we are helping to fundraise part of it - $900. The local group in Guatemala is fundraising the rest. Please donate today.
