Are you ready to play Home Games’ the Online Edition? We are, and we’re excited to have you join us!
You have the chance to win cash and other prizes by competing in the trivia competition, and by raising funds for Homestead Community Land Trust’s Next Hundred Homes campaign.
Winning Team takes home cash: Teams of six compete in three rounds, with 10 questions each. The team with the most correct answers takes home $100 each. If there is a tie, the remaining teams face off in a “sudden death” round until one team remains.
Best Team Name: Each team of six creates its own name to use throughout the competition. All participants will vote during the competition to select the best team name. All six winning team members will each receive a XXXX prize.
Most Funds Raised: Each team of six is invited to crowd-fund gifts for Homestead from friends and family not competing in Home Games. The team that raises the most funds will each receive a XXXX prize, and their choice of Homestead T-shirt, yard sign or coffee mug.
Early Bird Registration: Oct. 5 Early Birds who register by Oct. 5 have two advantages. First, they receive a lower ticket price to the event: $50, of which 100% is a tax-deductible donation to Homestead. Second, they have more time to crowd-fund from their networks prior to game-night.
Registration Deadline: Oct. 19 Final deadline to register is Oct. 19 by midnight. After Oct. 5, tickets are $60 and still 100% tax-deductible.
Buy Your Clues Ahead: Buy your clue tickets in advance and save time for game-play on Oct. 24. Teams will have dedicated Clue Mavens to send clues for each question via cell phone text.
Don’t Have a Team? No worries! You’re always a member of the Homestead team! If you register as a single, or something less than six team members, we will match with you with a set a players and notify you after Oct. 19 who is on your team. You’ll have the opportunity to email each other, come up with a team name, and crowd-fundraise for Homestead as a group. Ready to Get Started? Register below!
